Early start to miss the queues at the Ann Frank museum. Quite an emotional experience to get some insights of the terror the Jew’s went through under Nazi persecution in WW2. After a walk through a flower market we made our way by train to the airport.
Arrived at Heathrow (London) late in the afternoon. Absolutely wonderful to see Simon and Sue. They treated us to champagne and an amazing tour of central London. We went past Sue’s rowing club and had a warm beer at a pub on the Thames. Finished off with a sumptuous dinner overlooking the Tower bridge.
