Walked around the charming town of Chalon-Sur- Saône and through a photographic museum. Left Chalon-Sur- Saône and arrived in Verdun mid afternoon. Enjoyed a swim at the local public pool. Simon and I nearly could not swim because we had baggies on. Only speedo’s allowed. The lifeguard was however kind enough to let us swim on this occasion! Went out to dinner that evening. What an experience – we tried frogs legs and pigs ear!
