21 June

After breakfast we headed out into the crowded streets of Kowloon, with a 90% humidity. Well that’s what the local weather report stated. It hit us like a warm blanket – smack! Caught the underground train to Harbourside shopping centre, the largest shopping centre in Hong Kong. Later in the afternoon we wandered around Kowloon’s street markets and electronic stores in the Mongkok area. Ladies market in particular provided more determined sellers, literally chasing you down the road, desperately clinging to your arm, “Madam. Madam please, I make special price for you $100”. You can still hear them calling out to you as you make your escape through the crowd of shoppers.
